How do you decide what shows up here?
Every bonus is sourced — each row links the article we verified it from (Frequent Miler, The Points Guy, NerdWallet, etc.). We pull from the public points-and-miles blog ecosystem rather than running our own original reporting. The list updates as bonuses are added or expire; the iOS app's transfer-alert feature reads the same data feed.
How fresh is this list?
The catalog file is dated, and individual bonuses show end dates so you can see exactly when each one closes. The list re-renders hourly so 'ends in X days' is always accurate. If you spot something stale, the catalog source is open — file an issue or PR.
What's a 'transfer bonus' anyway?
When you transfer points from a credit card currency (Amex MR, Chase UR, Citi ThankYou, Capital One Miles) to an airline or hotel partner, normally you get 1:1. A transfer bonus boosts that ratio — a 30% bonus means 1,000 points becomes 1,300. Well-timed transfer bonuses are the single highest-leverage redemption moment for points/miles optimizers; the iOS app sends a push notification when one runs on a program you have a balance in.
